Cream Corn
Good morning, Well I made the study. Last Friday I pass all my test. The CT Scan showed a growth with one tumor the rest were stable. I started Chemo Monday with 23 blood draws through out the next 24 hours. They took them every 10 mins during chemo then every 15 mins, 30 mins. 11/2 hour, then every 3hr. it meant a stay in the hospital. I got through this Chemo pretty easy the most noticeable side effect is a body ordor. I cann't smell it but they tell me it smells like cream corn. I went into a gas station this morning and the clerk asked another gal if she smelled corn I fessed up. I will have labs today and chemo again tomorrow and back to Omaha fri. for a bone marrow draw and labs. We will do Chemo on mon. and fri. every other week for two months and then do another CT Scan. No more 24 hour blood draws, will have a EKG before or after every Chemo. This Friday nite is our Relay For Life walk in Neb. City at the High School, my team is awesome we have raised over $7000. Thank you for your support and prayers maybe this will be the year for a cure. LOVE KIM
